The Heart-Mind Qigong Retreat is an empowering programme of ancient body-mind-energy practices from the arts of Tai Chi and Qigong along with Buddhist sitting and walking meditations.

Shirsha Marie draws from over 38 years of experience in energy cultivation through internal health and martial arts traditions as well as contemporary psychotherapy practices, to provide practical tools of embodied mindfulness both in movement and in rest. The daily retreat schedule is steady and relaxed, flowing through each day with soft, spacious, stillness in equal balance to gently energising movement.

This inspiring retreat offers a profound experience of energy cultivation to help you be more resilient, relaxed and present when meeting stress-related challenges in daily life, and to cultivate wisdom and compassion for self and others.

Insight Meditation and Qigong Retreat

This is a 6 night silent meditation retreat of somatic mindfulness practises from the Buddhist tradition and energy cultivation practices from the ‘moving meditation’ arts of Tai Chi and Qigong.

You’ll learn traditional meditation techniques and real life skills which teach how to anchor awareness in the present moment and help meet life’s challenges with more energy and greater ease. These practices can improve body-mind health and well-being, and support you to find the inner stillness, calm, peace and harmony which is your natural birthright.

Subhana is a senior Insight Meditation teacher and Zen Roshi, and Shirsha is a senior Tai Chi and Qigong Teacher and also teaches Insight Meditation. They are Somatic Psychotherapists and each have decades of experience teaching personal development and meditation.
