Tai Chi and Qigong

Welcome to comprehensive training programmes in the soft-style martial art of Tai Chi, the gentle exercise art of Qigong Health and the dynamic exercise of Qigong Fitness – my holistic, strengthening martial arts class. Whether you choose a gentle or stronger class, all promote a powerful healing of the body-mind system. I provide a safe, supportive and non-competitive training environment which allows students to develop relaxed power, self-reflection, emotional balance and a calm, peaceful mind.

My classes offer systematic training in a variety of strong and soft energy building methods. Although these energising techniques are working right from the first class, it can take a few weeks to really feel the effects. From then on, with sustained practise, the systems steadily accelerate into dynamic internal energy workouts. Over time you can expect your practise to undergo profound transformations. As with all true arts, patience and commitment are required to gain the most benefit from Tai Chi, Qigong Health Art and Qigong Fitness Art.

Tai Chi classes offer an experience of stillness in action, through softly flowing, circular movements based on alignment, relaxation and meditation.

Qigong Health classes offer an experience of harmony in motion, through gentle, restorative self-healing practices which integrate body, breath and mind.

Qigong Fitness classes offer a more dynamic training for strength & vitality, through a fusion of martial arts, qigong and body psychotherapy moves.
